THE ROLE  

As Marketing Executive, you will be solely responsible for the marketing function of the business. The successful candidate must have previous experience developing and delivering innovative and effective marketing plans. They should be a self-starter and have excellent motivation, leadership and ingenuity to excel at this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement overall Marketing Strategy
  • Developing and delivering effective PR and marketing campaigns
  • Managing website updates
  • Working with external marketing agencies
  • Monthly reporting of website performance and other marketing activities
  • Developing and managing email campaigns
  • Copywriting and developing customer direct communications
  • Coordinating the design and delivery of marketing material
  • Working with stakeholders across the business
  • PR Activities where applicable

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a public relation, communications, marketing, media executive or similar role
  • A degree in marketing/ communications or equivalent (2:1 or higher will be an advantage)
  • Proven experience of developing and delivering innovative and effective marketing plans
  • Experience with implementing a SEO strategy
  • Strong user of IT systems and packages including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Experience using various analytical tools including Google Analytics to provide reports to the management team
  • Able to work within a budget
  • Excellent copy writing and proof-reading skills
  • Ability to manage third party agencies and work alongside internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive and motivated: a self-starter
  • Ability to project manage and prioritise under pressure

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Member of Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), desirable
  • Experience within the IT sector
  • Previous use of content management systems like WordPress
  • Interest in photography/videography and creating exciting content

WORK HOURS:

  • 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm

REMUNERATION:

  • £20-25k Salary commensurate with experience
