Due to continuing growth, we are developing our sales and marketing team to help achieve our growth plans. This role will involve working with our internal teams and vendors to create and execute powerful promotional campaigns to bring awareness to the Ionic brand.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Marketing Executive to join our team to promote the Ionic brand and our services. A combination of attention to detail, great organisational skills, and creative flair will be necessary to deliver on our vision and business objectives. This position will require you to be a strong marketing generalist with wide-ranging digital and offline experience, ideally in the technology sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB DUTIES:
- Outbound and inbound marketing activities, demonstrating relevant marketing expertise.
- Development and ownership of the Ionic marketing and communication plan
- Develop creative and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Brainstorm and deliver promotional, advertising, and editorial materials.
- Plan and execute events, exhibitions, and conferences to attract customers and potential staff
- Collaborate with agencies and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts.
- Analysing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to refine and improve future marketing strategies.
- Identify ideal marketing channels for optimal customer engagement.
- Follow budget and finance processes.
- Continue to build on our Ionic brand with our core values and vision.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to our core values of Perseverance, Individuality, Caring, Continual Improvement, and Respectability.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing role
- Thorough understanding of effective and up-to-date marketing techniques
- Strong planning and execution skills
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Experience with marketing systems & social media platforms (eg. Hubspot; Web analytics; Google Adwords; LinkedIn, Website management systems etc.)
- Applicable knowledge of marketing data analytics and tools
- Experience of photography and video editing would be beneficial
- A passion for technology and a commitment to constant improvement.
- Experience working within the technology sector would be beneficial.
- Proven experience collaborating with industry partners, including marketing agencies, digital media and PR firms.
