Clarke’s has been one of our longest-standing clients partnering with us since 2010 when they first approached us to help with their IT infrastructure and telecommunications as part of the relocation to their new state-of-the-art company headquarters. They undertake large-scale construction projects for public sector organisations with requirements to ensure they adhere to strict security standards. Clarkes has undergone significant growth in recent years, throughout this time we have partnered with them to ensure their IT infrastructure remains robust and ensuring consistency within an ever-growing user count in terms of end efficiency through technology.

We proposed the implementation of a full stack Fortinet Network and Security solution.

Optimal Network Performance & Security – Firewall, Networking & Wi-Fi

The first step was to install a high-performance Fortinet firewall to provide a robust, secure platform for all internal and external access. Fortinet security fabric secures fast access to network resources – full visibility of the network traffic – we opted for this as the latest and industry-leading Zero Trust Network Access /SDWAN.

The ZTNA platform runs ongoing verification which checks the user’s identity, the device identity and posture before granting access to an application or service. It provides a unified endpoint agent which extends the protection from the FortiGate firewall security services and secure access.

Network Switching with 10GB capacity core switching between replication servers, backup NAS devices. Firewall devices and main network stack – providing maximum capacity for all network traffic.

Wireless network upgraded to the latest Wi-Fi standards (6AX) for improved performance and capacity throughout the entire offices and factory.

Minimal Disruption to Business Operations

Since the relocation to their new multi-million Head Office in Ballymena, we have supported them with moves to two additional office locations, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal disruption to their business operations. An improved backup server has created a more reliable network, decreased downtime, and improved efficiency.
